Privacy Notice
I train people to use AI well, so it is only fair you know exactly how I handle your information. This notice is short on purpose.
Who I am
Louise Martin, trading as AI with Louise, a sole trader at Leigh House, Pudsey, Leeds LS28 8AN. I am the data controller for everything described here.

What I collect, and why
If you enquire — your name, email, phone number, organisation and whatever you tell me about what you need. I use it to reply, discuss requirements and prepare a quote. My basis is legitimate interests in responding to a business enquiry, and where you go on to book, taking steps to enter a contract.
If you book — contact and billing details, purchase order references and our correspondence, so I can deliver the work, invoice for it and keep proper records. My basis is performance of our contract, and legal obligation for the accounting records.
Attendee details — names, email addresses and job roles supplied by your organisation, used to run the session and prepare handbooks. My basis is performance of the contract with your employer.
Workshop surveys — attendees’ answers to short surveys before and after a session, used to shape the session and measure the change in confidence. Your organisation receives an anonymised summary only; individual answers are never shared with your employer by name. My basis is legitimate interests in delivering and evaluating the training.
Photographs — I sometimes take photos at sessions for my own marketing. I ask first, in writing, and you can say no or change your mind later without giving a reason. My basis is consent.
Build materials — where you commission an AI assistant, the examples and templates you send me. If they contain personal data, I act as your processor and only on your instructions.
Where it comes from
Usually from you. Sometimes from your employer, when an organisation books training and sends an attendee list. Occasionally from public sources such as a company website or business directory, when I am researching organisations that might want training. If I have contacted you that way, tell me and I will delete your details.
How I use AI tools
I teach this, so I hold myself to it:
- I have turned off model training on every AI account I use, so nothing I put into them is used to improve anyone’s models.
- I do not put your personal information into an AI tool except where you have asked me to build something with it.
- Build materials stay in the build workspace. They never go into my customer records.
- I delete my working copy of your materials within 30 days of handover.
- I do no automated decision-making and no profiling. Nothing about you is decided by a machine.

I do not sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing. I share it otherwise only where the law requires it, or to bring or defend a legal claim.
Information held outside the UK
The services above are US-based or US-owned. I rely on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where a provider is certified under it, and otherwise on the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement supported by a transfer risk assessment. I check certifications once a year.
Cookies
This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to work, which is why you are not asked to consent to them.

Security
Every business account uses a unique password and two-factor authentication, devices are encrypted and kept updated, and I collect only what I actually need. If something went wrong that affected you, I would tell you promptly.
Your rights
You can ask me to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how I use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to my relying on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time where consent is what I rely on.

Complaints

Changes
I review this notice yearly and whenever I change how I work. The date at the top shows the last update.
